What StageList Is
A live performance tool for bandleaders. Build and organize setlists, manage them from list view, and control what every band member sees from stage view — synced in real time across all devices.
Step 1 — Get Your Songs In
First, tap 📋 New Show on the home screen and pick Wedding or General Gig. That choice decides what shows up in Event Info — Wedding shows get Key People, Bridal Party Entrance Order, and Vendors & Contacts; General Gig skips straight to Date, Venue, Band, and Notes. Then, three ways to build the song list:
A. Master CSV import — one file with event info, timeline, special songs, and setlist. Tap + Import New CSV on the home screen.
B. Build from Repertoire — go to Repertoire, filter by singer, tap Select, check your songs, tap Add to Setlist. Songs land in the Unassigned section ready to drag into categories.
C. Add songs one at a time — tap + Add in list view. The title field searches your repertoire as you type — tap a match to pre-fill, or type a new title to create.
💡 Master CSV Format
The master CSV populates everything at once. Use AI to generate it from your event notes:
Step 2 — Organize in List View
Songs with no category land in Unassigned at the bottom — drag them into category sections.
• Drag ⠿ to reorder songs within a category
• Drag a song onto a category header to assign it there
• Drag category headers to reorder whole sections
• Tap ⇄ on a category header to shuffle that section
• Double-tap a category name to rename it inline
• Tap ✏ on a song to edit title, singer, key, style
• Swipe left on a song to delete it
• Long-press a song to replace it from repertoire
Step 3 — Special Songs
Special songs (first dance, hora, parent dances, etc.) live in their own section above the setlist. Tap ⭐ Special Songs in the header or use + Add Special Song from the add menu.
• Tap ▶ Now to broadcast a special song to all devices instantly
• Drag a special song onto a setlist song to add it to the queue at that spot
• Drag a special song's ⠿ handle onto another one to reorder within the same type
• Drag a type's label (e.g. First Dance, Cake Cutting) to reorder that whole group
• Tap ✕ on any row to delete (two taps to confirm)
• Clear All in the Special Songs panel to start fresh
Step 4 — On Stage
Tap ▶ Stage to enter performance mode. The screen stays on automatically.
• Tap anywhere — mark played, advance to next song
• ↩ — flip the current song between played and unplayed
• ⭐ — pull up a special song (broadcasts to all devices)
• 🔍 — call an audible, search repertoire, add next song
• 📝 Lyrics — view lyrics/chords for the current song (if saved). Tap ☀ in the viewer for a white background, easier to read under stage lighting
• 📢 — send a message to the whole band
• Skip — skip current song without marking played
• Logo break — full screen logo between sets
• Bluetooth foot pedal — page turner devices work natively (ArrowRight/PageDown)
Band Devices
Copy the broadcast link from List view's ☰ menu ("📡 Copy Broadcast URL") or from Band Profile → Broadcast Link, where you can also set a short custom word so the link reads like stagelist.app/yourband instead of a long one. Band members open it on any device — it shows the current song in real time, a full event info overlay with timeline and contacts, and its own ⭐ Special button to browse special songs and their lyrics/chords any time. Read-only, stays in sync automatically.
Multiple Singers & Duets
Setlist songs can have more than one singer, for duets and group numbers.
• Long-press a song → Change Singer — check every singer on the song, not just one
• Add Song Next's singer picker pre-checks every singer already tied to that repertoire song
• The inline edit panel's Singer field also takes a comma-separated list ("Alice, Bob")
Special Songs are still single-singer only.
Singer Colors
Give each singer a permanent color so they're easy to spot at a glance.
• Toggle on/off: 🎨 Singer Colors in List view's ☰ menu
• When on, List rows get colored singer tags and Stage's singer line and upcoming pills pick up a matching accent
Lyrics View Modes
Open a song's 📝 Lyrics and tap the mode button in the header to cycle:
• 🎸 ChordPro — chords and lyrics together (default)
• 🎤 Singer — lyrics only, chords hidden
• 🎹 Instrumentalist — chords only, lyrics hidden
Only affects ChordPro-style ([C]-bracket) lyrics — older hand-typed lyrics always show as-is.
Show Sharing
Share a show with another StageList account so they can help run it live.
• 🤝 Share This Show in List view's ☰ menu (owner only) — enter their account email
• They get full edit access — setlist, Stage, broadcasting — not just viewing
• Shared shows show up under Shared With You on their Home screen, tagged 🤝
• Revoke access anytime from the same share panel
Organizing Your Shows
The home screen shows your 3 most recently opened shows at the top for quick access.
Tap + New Folder to create folders (by year, venue, event type — whatever works for you). Tap ••• on any show card to move it into a folder. Tap a folder to expand it.
